On Australia Day, Colton decided to use the metal vaccum cleaner tube as a light saber & whacked Wyatt on his tooth. At the time it bled a little & felt like a superficial scratch. He did not mention it again until 3 days later at school he told Miss Klemke that he couldnt eat his apple because his tooth hurt lots. I forgot about checking it that afternoon & the following morning he started complaining a lot about how much it hurt so I pulled his lip up & was shocked to see this....
Because he had been so brave having the "sleepy tooth juice" put in, he got a special Dentist Kit. It included gloves, a mask, stickers, one of those mirrors on a stick to check out peoples teeth & a syringe with no needle. We had been home a very short time, the kids were squirting eachother with water using the syringes when Wyatt started screaming. Colton had squirted him in the eye, he tripped & banged his teeth on the aircon unit outside. The big tooth next to the gap had chipped along the bottom, was loose & had 2 big cuts above it. The one beside it was also loose & chipped & the eye tooth had a chip out of the corner on one side & a channel chipped along the front, which I only realised when he stood side on. We had to go back to the dentist the next day & have the eye tooth filled because the nerve was exposed causing pain. Hopefully the other 2 will strengthen in the gum before we see the dentist for review in 2 weeks. What a drama!
